Nicole Kessler Ferry Esq.

Nicole is the youngest daughter of three. She is native to Louisiana but due to her then step-father’s work, moved frequently. She graduated 9th in her class in high school after which she attended Louisiana State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science in 3 ½ years. Subsequently, she attended Paul M. Hebert’s School of Law at Louisiana State University graduating in May of 1999. She passed the Florida Bar that Summer and was sworn into the practice of law on September 13, 1999. The following year she passed the Louisiana Bar and is still licensed in both. Her career began at the Office of the Public Defender for the First Circuit of the State of Florida in October of 1999. During her two year tenure, she had 13 jury trials, winning all but 2. After the two years at the PD’s office, Nicole branched out and as they say, hung her shingle. For the first six months she had no staff and did everything from answering the phone, billing, advertising, preparing pleadings and attending court hearings, trials and depositions, With the help of colleagues, she learned how to practice in the area of family law and finds that is her passion. The practice succeeded such that her husband of 23 years left a workman’s compensation firm to work with her and has done so since 2003. Her husband Chris is now employed as a Child Support Hearing officer for Escambia County.
